Dr. Zehra-Cagla Kahvecioglu holds a PhD in Biomedical and Pharmaceutical Sciences from the University of Mons (Belgium), completed under the supervision of Professor Carmen Burtea. Since 2008, she has developed multidisciplinary expertise spanning metabonomics, ¹H-NMR spectroscopy, preclinical toxicology, clinical research, in vivo murine models, and a wide range of molecular and cellular biology techniques, including ELISA, immunofluorescence, immunohistochemistry, and Western blotting. She obtained her Master's degree in Biomedical Sciences from the University of Mons in 2020 and subsequently conducted doctoral research focused on the development of innovative peptide-based therapeutic strategies for anaplastic thyroid carcinoma (ATC), one of the most aggressive and treatment-resistant forms of thyroid cancer. Her scientific interests include oncology, targeted therapies, preclinical drug development, toxicology, metabonomics, translational research, and biomedical innovation. She is also passionate about scientific communication, knowledge transfer, and higher education teaching.
