A dedicated Medical Science researcher specialising in the complex intersections of menopause, mental health, and neurocognitive disorders. Building upon a strong foundation in Biomedical Science (BSc Hons), my doctoral research investigates the neurobiological mechanisms underlying menopausal transitions and their impact on cognitive function and mental well-being. My current research focuses on understanding the relationship between hormonal changes during menopause and their effects on brain structure, function, and mental health outcomes. My biomedical background provides a robust understanding of cellular and molecular mechanisms, while my current research integrates clinical neuroscience, endocrinology, and psychological approaches. This interdisciplinary perspective enables a comprehensive investigation of the complex relationships between hormonal changes, brain health, and mental wellbeing during the menopausal transition. Through this research, I aim to contribute to improved understanding and management of menopause-related cognitive changes and mental health challenges, ultimately working toward better outcomes for women navigating this significant life transition.
