Since the 1980s, Metalco-Alupack has manufactured aluminium primary packaging for sterile APIs and other sensitive products, and has registered a Type III (packaging) DMF with the US FDA, updated and enriched annually. Its anodized canisters ensure perfect chemical stability, complete protection and efficient tightness, are easy to sterilize and depyrogenate, and can be conveniently sterilized after washing and rinsing using dry heat sterilization or autoclaving, testing pyrogen-free; the seamless aluminium containers are completely neutral both mechanically (resistant to shocks, perforation and cuts) and chemically (providing absolute protection against heat, cold, light and gas permeation), with Metalco-Alupack partnering with major pharmaceutical users to enhance the final surface treatment of aluminium cans used for sterile powders.
