Established in 1974 by two engineers to indigenously produce high-frequency dielectric and induction heating equipment, Electronics Devices has grown over three decades by introducing equipment for various high-frequency heating applications. Its first product, a dielectric preheater, has sold more than 3,000 units across India and exported to Germany, Russia and Sri Lanka; induction heating machines followed in 1983 for automobile, diamond tool and refrigeration applications, and in 1989 the company introduced India's first induction cap sealing system, supplying Procter & Gamble's Vicks VapoRub line and later multinationals including Cadbury, Nestlé, Pennzoil and Gulf Oil.
