Graduated in Industrial Pharmacy and Pharmaceutics, in University of São Paulo (1989), specializing in Pharmacology, in Federal University of Lavras, Master of Health Sciences, Area of Pharmacology, in Federal University of Mato Grosso and PhD student, Health Sciences, Area of Pharmacology, in Federal University of Mato Grosso, with sandwich PhD in University of Liverpool, England. I am currently professor at the State University of Mato Grosso. I have experience in the area of ​​Pharmacology, with an emphasis on Pharmacology of Natural Products, and also in Biochemistry. Works on projects that relate to the parasitology and indigenous health and pharmacological action of medicinal plants with antiulcer, anticancer anti-inflammatory activities.
