Buchi Reactor Systems & Pilot Plants sell "Nutsche filter"

Nutsche filters ranging from 10 to 300 liters pair easily with Büchi reactors for solid/liquid separation after synthesis. Their inert construction allows safe processing of a wide range of solvents and acids under an inert atmosphere, in a fully sealed (Büchiflex) glass system under full vacuum. Slurry is fed into the filter, where the filter cloth retains the solid content, forming a filter cake, while the filtrate drains to the outlet valve in the base plate; filtration ends once the filtrate volume becomes small, a stage that can be shortened by compressing the filter cake with the height-adjustable stirrer.
