Built to prevent extractables and leachables (E&L) from packaging materials, these soft bags suit more sensitive drug solutions, where the key consideration in primary packaging is the interaction between drug and container. Using cyclic olefin polymer, a highly inert material, as the drug-contact layer, the bags deliver glass-like performance while retaining plastic's flexibility. Their glass-like inner surface prevents both E&L and sorption, maximizing retention of active ingredients. They suit drugs intended for premixed, ready-to-infuse formats where E&L and sorption are a concern, and are available in 50 and 100 ml sizes in PP and PE formats compatible with various sterilization methods.
