Laurus Labs Limited sell "Finished Dosage Form"

Laurus is expanding downstream into finished dosage forms (FDF) to add value beyond its cost-efficient, large-scale API operations. Its FDF development center brings together formulation and analytical research, clinical pharmacodynamics/pharmacokinetics, regulatory affairs, packaging development, IP management, and development QA. The company operates dedicated formulation labs, a lab-scale clinical supply facility, and analytical research labs able to develop a range of dosage forms. It is also building state-of-the-art oral FDF facilities meeting international regulatory standards, with a pilot plant and initial capacity of 1 billion units, planned to scale to 5 billion units, backed by roughly US$50 million in investment.
