Ningbo Linzyme Biosciences Co., Ltd., based in Yuyao, Ningbo, traces its origins to Shanghai Shengning Institute of Applied Biochemistry, established in 1993 to develop and produce urokinase, ulinastatin and related products, before shifting to animal-source enzymes such as chymotrypsin, trypsin and kallidinogenase in 2000.
