Bromonitromethane

Bromonitromethane (CAS 563-70-2) is manufactured directly by BirdoTech to veterinary grade, and used as an organic synthesis intermediate, notably in the production of antibiotics, pesticides and dyes, as well as in nitration reactions. The supplier's description characterizes it as a colorless-to-pale-yellow liquid, light-sensitive and requiring cool, ventilated, dark storage, though it cites a different CAS number (593-64-0) for that description, so some of the physical detail should be treated with caution. It is sold into markets across North America, Europe, and the Middle East.
