I am a Biomedical Engineering student at the University of Deusto, with a strong interest in the intersection between engineering, neuroscience, and healthcare technology. I am especially motivated by understanding how data, medical devices, and neurotechnology tools can be used to improve people’s quality of life. Throughout my degree, I have taken part in various projects and laboratory practices related to biomedical electronics, health data analysis, biomedical imaging, and biomedical signal processing. These experiences have allowed me to connect theoretical knowledge with real-world applications in clinical and technological settings. I am currently complementing my academic training with a neurotechnology internship at the Laboratory of Cellular Basis of Behavior and Disease at the Achucarro Basque Center for Neuroscience, within Edgar Soria-Gómez’s research group. There, I am gaining hands-on exposure to neuroscience research and its application from an engineering perspective. I enjoy working in multidisciplinary and collaborative environments, and I am particularly interested in: - Neurotechnology and systems neuroscience - Medical devices and eHealth - Data analysis and machine learning applied to healthcare - Medical imaging and biosignal processing I am open to internships, projects, and research opportunities in the fields of biomedical engineering, neurotechnology and healthcare innovation.
