Inês Marques Fernandes holds a master's degree in Pharmaceutical Sciences from the Faculty of Pharmacy at the University of Lisbon and is currently embarking on her doctoral journey with a thesis entitled "The role of community pharmacists in orthotic care for elderly patients." This research constitutes a significant contribution to the development and consolidation of studies in Socio-Pharmacy. At present, she serves as the Technical Director at Farmácia Brasil in Setúbal, managing a team of 14 healthcare professionals. In this role, she has been actively involved in various areas, including health management and marketing within the pharmaceutical sector. Additionally, Inês is a trainer and instructor for pharmacy students, overseeing various internships for future healthcare professionals both within and outside Portugal. Her objective is to incorporate innovative pedagogical approaches and pharmaceutical practices into the education and training of students.
