I’m a current first year medical student at Ohio University. I’ve recently graduated from the NYU Tandon School of Engineering with a Master’s degree in Biomedical Engineering. I previously graduated from the University of Rochester with a B.S. in Biomedical Engineering and a minor in Chemistry. I wish to utilize my passion towards biomechanics to make an impact in the field of musculoskeletal research. I have been shadowing physicians in hospital branches such as the Cleveland Clinic to gain a deeper exposure to the field of healthcare. I've had previous research with the Center of Musculoskeletal Research at UR Strong Memorial Hospital to build my background in hands-on lab experience and investigate musculoskeletal-degenerative disease. My graduate research at NYU Tandon was geared towards investigating the biomechanics associated with traumatic brain injury (TBI) through finite element analysis (FEA). I hope to apply what I've learned in collaborative biomedical engineering towards the field of healthcare as an aspiring physician and biomechanics researcher.
