Pharmacist and digital health specialist based in Mombasa, Kenya, with a practice that bridges hospital pharmacy management, healthcare governance, and digital health innovation. I currently manage pharmacy operations at CGTRH–Utange Level 4 Hospital, where I oversee supply chain management, clinical pharmacy services, and quality improvement. I hold a Bachelor of Pharmacy from Kenyatta University and am pursuing an MSc in Public Health at the University of Suffolk (UK). Alongside my hospital role, I serve as the Technical Lead for Innovation, Research & Digital Health TWG of the Pharmaceutical Society of Kenya (PSK), where I champion telepharmacy, e-prescribing, and AI adoption in pharmacy practice, and contribute evidence-based input to national policy and advocacy. I am also a co-founder of Afiadata Org, an innovation and research hub training early-career health workers in digital health, AI, and health data science. My research interests span machine learning applications in pharmacovigilance (topic modelling, sentiment analysis, NLP), Quantitative Systems Pharmacology (QSP), epidemiologic and computational modelling (ODEs, Markov chains, physics-informed neural networks), drug recall and regulatory analysis, and AI governance in healthcare. I'm currently using my technical skills which include but not limited to Python, R, TensorFlow, PyTorch, scikit-learn, SQL, AWS, and data visualization tools such as Streamlit, to build solutions around PV, RA and computational epidemiology. I also co-host Afiadata's YT channel where I talk about frontiers of research in health data science.
