Bryce Beckstrom is a P4 pharmacy student at the University of Texas College of Pharmacy. He has previously worked as a pharmacy technician advocate at the Dell Seton Medical Center at the University of Texas in Austin, Texas and as a pharmacy technician at CVS Pharmacy in Dallas, Texas. Bryce attended the University of Texas at Dallas for his undergraduate education where he graduated Summa Cum Laude with a Bachelor of Science in Biochemistry. On clinical rotation at Baylor Scott and White Medical Center – Temple in Temple, Texas, Bryce conducted opioid stewardship research with the goal of minimizing oversedation events. Bryce is currently interested in oncology pharmacy, and he plans on pursing residency in this area. He is also a member of the National Community Oncology Dispensing Association (NCODA). His education is sponsored by the prestigious St. David’s Neal Kocurek Scholarship cohort.
