Arpita Soreng is a PhD Scholar in the Department of Zoology at Ravenshaw University, Cuttack. With a foundational background consisting of both a B.Sc. and an M.Sc. in Zoology, her current doctoral research (2022–Present) bridges the gap between computational drug discovery and experimental biochemistry. Operating within a biochemical redox laboratory, she investigates cellular signaling and oxidative stress pathways. Her technical repertoire includes utilizing homology modeling for structural predictions and molecular docking to identify potential therapeutic candidates. By combining in silico bioinformatics approaches with practical wet-lab biochemical analysis, she aims to contribute to the development of novel drug discovery frameworks that address complex redox-regulated biological systems.
