Biomedical Engineer with research interests in biomedical device development, microfluidic biomedical systems, wearable and embedded healthcare technologies, biomedical instrumentation, sensor integration, signal processing, biomaterials, regenerative medicine, and translational medical engineering for resource-limited healthcare settings. My broader interests also include medical device prototyping, rehabilitation technologies, biosensing systems, medical robotics, and intelligent healthcare technologies. I obtained a Bachelor of Engineering (B.Eng.) in Biomedical Engineering from Abiola Ajimobi Technical University Ibadan, Nigeria (formerly First Technical University), graduating with First Class Honours. My academic and research experiences span embedded systems, biomedical sensing technologies, instrumentation and control systems, microfluidics, thermal regulation systems, wearable sensors, and experimental biomedical engineering. My undergraduate research focused on the development of a low cost electrophoresis machine for rapid genotype analysis, involving system design, prototyping, testing, and experimental validation. The work was later published and strengthened my interest in affordable biomedical technologies for healthcare applications. I have also contributed to collaborative biomedical engineering projects involving wearable tremor monitoring systems for neurological conditions, temperature controlled microfluidic diagnostic devices, embedded vital signs simulators for clinical training, and Arduino-based ventilator systems developed during the COVID-19 pandemic. Beyond research, I have practical clinical engineering experience involving installation, troubleshooting, calibration, and maintenance of medical devices within healthcare facilities in Nigeria. My long term goal is to contribute to the development of intelligent, affordable, and clinically impactful biomedical technologies that improve healthcare accessibility and patient outcomes, particularly in underserved and resource-limited environments.
