Virginia–Maryland College of Veterinary Medicine

American veterinary school run jointly by Virginia Tech and the University of Maryland, with its main campus at Blacksburg in Virginia and further sites at the Marion duPont Scott Equine Medical Center in Leesburg and at College Park in Maryland. Teaches the Doctor of Veterinary Medicine and graduate degrees in biomedical and veterinary sciences, runs veterinary teaching hospitals for companion animals, horses and farm animals with its own veterinary pharmacy and diagnostic laboratories, and carries out research in infectious disease, comparative oncology, pharmacology and toxicology and public health with veterinary clinical trials.
