Faculty of pharmaceutical sciences of the University of Nigeria on its Nsukka campus in Enugu State, part of the country's first indigenous university, founded in 1955 and opened in 1960. Teaches the Doctor of Pharmacy and Bachelor of Pharmacy with postgraduate and doctoral programmes through departments of pharmaceutics, pharmaceutical and medicinal chemistry, pharmacognosy and environmental medicine, pharmacology and toxicology and clinical pharmacy and pharmacy management, and runs research in natural products and drug delivery with a drug development unit.
