University of Bamenda

Cameroonian public university with its main campus at Bambili in Mezam division of the North West Region, created by presidential decree in December 2010 and opened in 2011 as the country's second English language university. Runs a Faculty of Health Sciences teaching medicine, nursing, medical laboratory sciences and public health together with faculties of science, arts, economics, education and law and higher technical and teacher training colleges, with research in medicinal plants, biochemistry and public health.
