Colombian public university in Bogotá with a campus at Cajicá, founded in 1982 and linked to the ministry of defence, teaching both military and civilian students. Runs faculties of medicine and health sciences with medicine, biology applied to health, nursing and dentistry, basic and applied sciences with chemistry and biology, engineering, economics, law and education, works with the Hospital Militar Central for clinical teaching, and carries out research in biomedical sciences, natural products and public health.
