The University of Dodoma

Tanzanian public university at Dodoma, founded in 2007 on a large campus east of the capital and one of the biggest universities in east Africa. Teaches through colleges of health and allied sciences with medicine, nursing, pharmacy and medical laboratory sciences, natural and mathematical sciences with chemistry and biology, informatics and virtual education, earth sciences and education, and runs its own teaching hospital and laboratories with research in public health, medicinal plants and biomedical sciences.
