Taiz University

Yemeni public university at Taiz in the south west of the country, founded in 1993 out of the Taiz branches of Sanaa University and one of the country's largest. Teaches through faculties of medicine and health sciences, pharmacy, dentistry, science with chemistry and biology, engineering, agriculture and the humanities, works with the Al-Thawra general hospital and other Taiz hospitals for clinical teaching, and runs its own teaching and research laboratories.
