American public university at University Center near Saginaw in Michigan, founded in 1963. Its Crystal M. Lange College of Health and Human Services teaches nursing, occupational therapy, health science and health administration, and the university runs pre-health professions programmes preparing students for medicine, pharmacy, dentistry, optometry, veterinary medicine and physician assistant study with early assurance agreements with Michigan medical schools, alongside colleges of science, engineering and technology, arts and behavioural sciences and business.
