Ukrainian state university in Kharkiv devoted to pharmacy, founded in 1805 and the country's leading pharmaceutical school, under the Ministry of Health. Teaches the pharmacist, clinical pharmacy, industrial pharmacy, technology of perfumes and cosmetics, quality management and laboratory diagnostics programmes together with postgraduate and doctoral study, runs departments of drug technology, pharmaceutical chemistry, pharmacognosy, pharmacology, biotechnology and pharmacoeconomics with its own analytical and pilot production facilities, and works with Ukrainian pharmaceutical manufacturers on formulation, quality control and drug registration.
