Indian government medical college in Indore in Madhya Pradesh, founded in 1948 and among the oldest in the state, affiliated to the state medical science university. Teaches the undergraduate medical degree together with postgraduate and superspecialty courses, runs the Maharaja Yeshwantrao and other associated government hospitals in the city as its teaching hospitals, operates departments of pharmacology, pathology, microbiology and forensic medicine with their laboratories, and carries out clinical and community research.
