Indian state university at Jalgaon in northern Maharashtra, established in 1990 as North Maharashtra University and renamed after the poet Bahinabai Chaudhari in 2018, with affiliated colleges across the Jalgaon, Dhule and Nandurbar districts. Teaches and affiliates colleges in pharmacy, chemistry, biotechnology, life sciences, engineering, management and the humanities, runs its own university departments and research laboratories, and carries out research in pharmaceutical sciences, chemical technology and biotechnology.
