Thai public university in Chatuchak, Bangkok, founded in 1943 as the country's first agricultural university and now multidisciplinary with campuses at Bangkhen, Kamphaeng Saen, Si Racha and Sakon Nakhon. Runs a Faculty of Veterinary Medicine with its own animal hospitals, faculties of agro-industry, science, agriculture and fisheries and a graduate school, and carries out research in veterinary medicines and vaccines, animal feed and additives, food science and safety, natural products and plant chemistry and biotechnology with analytical service laboratories.
