Clinical pharmacology institute of Central South University in Changsha, Hunan, China, founded in 1980 and one of the leading pharmacogenomics centres in the country, which also hosts the Hunan key laboratory of pharmacogenetics and the Ministry of Education engineering research centre for pharmacogenomics. Researches drug metabolising enzyme and transporter polymorphisms, individualised drug therapy, drug metabolism and pharmacokinetics, runs a national certified phase one clinical trial unit and trains postgraduate and doctoral students in clinical pharmacology.
