School of health sciences of the University of Iceland in Reykjavík, which brings together the country's university level health education. Comprises the faculties of medicine, pharmaceutical sciences, nursing and midwifery, odontology, psychology and food science and nutrition, with the pharmaceutical sciences faculty teaching the pharmacy degree and running research in drug delivery, medicinal chemistry, pharmacoepidemiology and natural products, and it works with Landspítali, the national university hospital, on clinical teaching and research.
