Egyptian agriculture faculty of Kafrelsheikh University in the northern Nile delta, part of a university that grew out of the Kafr el-Sheikh branches of Tanta University and became independent in 2006. Teaches departments of food science and technology, agricultural biochemistry, plant protection and pesticides, agronomy, horticulture, soil and water science and animal production with postgraduate degrees, and runs its own laboratories and experimental farms with research on pesticide residues, food safety and crop and animal production in the delta.
