Indian teaching hospital and medical college at Pimpri in Pune, Maharashtra, part of Dr. D. Y. Patil Vidyapeeth which was recognised as a deemed university in 2003. Teaches the bachelor of medicine and surgery with postgraduate and super specialty courses, and runs a teaching hospital of well over a thousand beds providing cardiology and cardiac surgery, oncology, neurosciences, nephrology with dialysis and transplantation, maternity and emergency and intensive care, with its own clinical laboratories, blood bank, imaging services and hospital pharmacy and a research centre.
