French public mental health hospital at Rennes in Brittany, whose origins go back to an asylum of the nineteenth century and which is named after a former director. Provides adult, child and adolescent psychiatry, addiction treatment, forensic psychiatry and rehabilitation through inpatient wards, day hospitals and community mental health centres across Ille-et-Vilaine, runs its own hospital pharmacy, and teaches and carries out clinical research with the university and hospital of Rennes.
