Chinese city hospital in Wuhan in Hubei province, founded in 1880 as a mission hospital in Hankou and now a class three grade A general hospital affiliated to Tongji Medical College of Huazhong University of Science and Technology, working across the Nanjing Road and Houhu campuses. Provides general and specialist care with emergency and intensive care, cardiology, oncology, ophthalmology, respiratory and infectious disease services, teaches medical students and residents, and runs its own clinical laboratories, hospital pharmacy and clinical trial unit.
