Ukrainian public medical university in Chernivtsi in the Bukovina region, founded in 1944 and teaching Ukrainian and international students. Runs faculties of medicine, pharmacy, dentistry and postgraduate education, with its pharmaceutical faculty teaching pharmacy and clinical pharmacy through departments of pharmacy, pharmaceutical botany and pharmacognosy, pharmacology and medicinal chemistry and clinical training in the Chernivtsi regional hospitals.
